Momma Hacks that helps my Chaos.

Momma Hacks that helps my Chaos.

With change in the seasons and the sun staying out longer, my days seem to get more chaotic, from a my daily to-dos list, practices, play dates, birthday parties and just trying to have any type of social life.

I complied a few things that help me manage my beautiful chaos….

1. Make your coffee the night before or pour it into a water bottle first thing

2. Have groceries delivered or atleast go in the store with a well mapped out list, making sure to Avoid any trigger isles. I mean damn, if you have not walked out of store with complete embarrassment, while surf boarding your child. Are you really momma-ing?!?

3. Schedule, schedule schedule! We all know a Toddler will turn into a monster, if one thing is wrong.

4. Screen time is okay! Please don not feel bad about it!

5. Have a Healthy snack readily available.

6. Alternate toys! Your kiddo def gets tired of the same toy, so make is fun for them to play alone, giving you additional time to get things completed.

7. Get outside for at least 20 mins a day. Even if it’s raining or snowing. I’ve learned that the kiddo really do not care. They just want to have fun. If anything, It’s more so you, not wanting to look like a wet dog.

8. Enjoy the moments! Chaos or no chaos your kids are happy and thriving and so are you!

Top Reasons To Start A Blog

Top Reasons To Start A Blog

Top Reasons You Should Start A Blog

1. Blog As A Creative Outlet

Blogging is an incredible creative outlet and while it may start as such, it may eventually lead to something more! A blog has a way of allowing you to explore your creativity in many ways. This may include writing, photography, graphic or web design, marketing, business and entrepreneurship.

I first began blogging as a form of self-care. Trust me, I needed all the self-care. I was struggling, with postpartum. There was something about letting it all out with a group of “friends” with no expectations of an answer. It became a part of my daily routine.

I was able to explore various styles of writing, which has lead me to spend half my time writing blogs for others as a service. It was something I never imagined doing but the creative doors opened new opportunities along the way!

Blogging is my creative outlet, I have learned new skills, met new people, and developed new interests I never considered before.

2. Sharing Your Passion And Knowledge With Others

The ability to share your passion or knowledge with others is rewarding in many ways. Whether you’re a master at crafting, baking, decor, organizing or finances, your knowledge can help others. There are millions of people scouring the internet looking to solve problems and answer questions. The blog post they come across could be yours!

Imagine helping a struggling family sort their finances and begin to save money. Or perhaps your skills with keeping a organized House, can lead to a entrepreneur opening her own shop. Your passion, skills, and knowledge can open new possibilities for those around you. You may make new friends, build a community, and even generate revenue, all from sharing what you know through your blog!

3. Create A New Source Of Income

Blogging opens the door to a new revenue stream. Think about all the ways you can use your passion and knowledge through your blog. Many bloggers create courses, e-books, and memberships to help others.

Bloggers, also create printables and templates to sale to their audience. You can design them to fit their needs, such as daily to-do lists, trackers, or social media templates for their businesses. It’s a great way to connect to your creative side and make money online.

4. Build A Brand

If you’re starting or growing a business, starting a blog is wise and highly recommended. Your blog is a fantastic way to create awareness of your products or services. By building your brand, you create trust, authority, and a strong online presence.

Blogs can drive traffic to online stores as well as brick-and-mortar stores. Never take the power of a blog for granted. Reach new customers, re-engage old customers, and create a recognizable brand that attracts loyal followers. Whether you’re a speaker or children’s clothing store, a blog can help build your brand’s awareness.

So friends, what are you waiting for? Start putting those ideas to work and start your blogging journey now!

Let’s all thrive together, because blogging is not DEAD!

Happy Blogging!

Surfboard Style…

Hey Momma, Hey!

I wanted to stop for a moment, to say you’re doing an amazing job! Just wanted to get that off my chest before I begin our day. I need to make two errands for The day, with one being Target!!

However, I instantly remembered my last melt down in Target and the anxiety kicked in…. so with being said , I know I am going to make Target the last stop.

I laugh…. bc what parent has not had a Darling Kiddo loose all muscle movement , laying out in the middle of a store!?! ( If you know, then you know 🙃)

If your’re not surf boarding your kiddo out of their favorite store, are you really parenting?

Hey Friends , Hey! It’s been a while. A very loonnng while. But to say the least I’m back, refreshed and ready to write on my own blog, again. For my friends that did not know and wonder where I’ve been. Mommas been workin’! No, but really when I started freelance writing for other bloggers and small businesses, what I thought was going to just be a “little” side hustle, turned into a full fledged job! So, with that I just didn’t have the mentally ability to write for my own blog.

I am still writing for other bloggers and small businesses but have now narrowed down my clients to select posts. This will allow me the mentally ability to write for my own blog, as well.

I am also still doing Pinterest Management for entrepreneurs and I also work at an amazing Consignment Boutique, that’s brings me incredible joy, a Darling atmosphere and Dashing co-workers and shoppers.

I also still work events for our Soul Food Joint restaurant & Catering business, along with wife’ing and momma’ing.

So, Momma was just tired and needed a break. And unfortunately, my own blog was neglected. But friends, I’m back!! With more chaos, more tricks, hacks, and resources.

So grab your wine, tea, or water and let’s continue documenting sustainable chaos. #chaoscoodinators, let’s go!

I’m super excited to say that today marks my blog anniversary that I (officially) published this blog. I was very happy with how far I had come, but unsure with my emotions of gratitude. I remember thinking to myself, I can do this, I can write a blog. I wanted so badly to write and to express my feelings, to share my cries, my knowledge, to have someone to (talk) with. I had this feeling of emptiness, but also a feeling of grate-fullness. It’s hard to explain. BUT, throughout the feelings I decided to write. Although, I do not have A lot of published posts, I DO have a lot of journaling. Some I will share, eventually and some that is just for me. Those that are just for me, I wrote  in the mist of ALL my emotions. Writing the sh*t out was my form of self care. It was my TIMEOUT. How To Have Success with Blogging.-A simple Way

How To Have Success with Blogging.-A simple Way

Hey Friend, Hey!

When I first started this Blog,  I had no Idea that Blogging as a hobby, would turn into a full-time income. I originally started my Blog as a way to Vent and to clear my mind. When this blog first started, before anyone knew about it, I started out of fear, confusion, disgust, sadness and anger. I needed a way to express myself, so I started to write. Some of my unpublished post are sad and dark, but throughout my blogging journey they’ve became bright, humorous and delightful. They have become MEI was becoming me again, so I decided to hit the PUBLISH button and I am very glad I did. I am happy with the work I have put into my blog and the fact, that I can now call my blog a full-time job with a full-time income.

Here are my tips to making Any blog A full-time career.

 Be Authentic

Being true to yourself makes you a better writer and more relatable to your readers. Not everyone will like what you post, but I’m here to tell you someone will read and want to continue to read your content. The majority of your readers will be complete strangers and Trust me, It is OKAY! Also, trust your creativity!

 Research Your Readers.

Dedicate a lot of time in researching how blogs work, how they can make money, how to attract readers, then tackle the list. I, personally  was so determined to figure out how to publish and market my blog for FREE. I knew a little about blogging but I needed to dig deeper, to figure out how to make my blog a business and how I could make an income from my blog. A Blog can be very fulfilling and is a great source of income, but I will tell you it’s more than just writing and posting on social media. It’s work and dedication.

 Engage with your readers.

Get involved with your current readers. Engage with them on social media, RePin post, give props, authentically cheer them on.  I have had great success with Pinterest For growing my blog readers. I personally like that Pinterest helps you grow, and it is not ALL about the number of followers you have. But more so your engagement with the people that like and RePIN your post. Do not get me wrong IG, Twitter and TikTok are great platforms for growing your blog, I personally enjoy the success with Pinterest.

Ask your readers what they want.

By being on multiple social media platforms, will want to know which posting preference your readers enjoy more. This  also helps with monetizing your blog. A lot of brands look at this when you work with them. It doesn’t matter how big your following is, but at least have a presence. I started monetizing my blog with a very small following (mainly because my pages have been private-Read my Year of blogging post). But, with that being said I have also worked with great brands with some great opportunities that came my way.

Do NOT worry what others say or think. Let them be your motivation.

Read that again! It is so easy to compare yourself to others. But, Their middle is not your beginning. We ALL have to start somewhere. Motivate yourself, to enjoy YOUR process, let that be your story. Your story is what makes you unique and makes you stand out. I was told that I could never have success with my blog, because I did not post on Instagram. Just because IG, is someone else’s preferred traffic driver, However it is NOT mine. Stay Authentic to yourself and the success will come banging at your door.

 Schedule and Plan.

Its so easy to quit and not write for days, with the crazy schedule that you have going on. But,I promise once a schedule is in place and you make it consistent you will want to write. When you go into writing with a clear head space, you perform better. I was guilty of blogging burn-out, so I cute back to only publishing two days a week. This gave me more time to plan out, what I wanted to write and schedule out my days. I can schedule up to a month on content, that I wrote in two days or publish more whenever I see fit, but making sure I publish at least two a week. DO whatever makes you feel comfortable.!

Have Fun!!

I hope this helped…

Hey Friend! I like to tell this side of my story, because I know that my chaos and fear resinate with other mommas, women and people out here, just trying to make it throughout the day. But, I am here to tell you, if you believe that you’re not just the the spark, but the whole D*mn Firecracker, you can do anything you set out to do.  Our biggest fear is the unknown, but what if the the unknown is our biggest blessing?!?!
